"The Mortal Instruments": Series - Poem
I see flocks of angels burrowed beneath their wings
and hear their ignorant cries of laughter.
I see the demons that feast on mundane blood
and smell the fear of their victims.
I see vampires that lure their prey in for a drink
and witness the death and it's beauty.
I see the werwolves claw through raw succulent meat
and taste the filth of my surroundings.
I see the Silent Brothers whip around corners
and sense their hideous features.
I don't see the Night Children
but they see me.

ReplyDeleteI really like your poem!! As I have never read this series, do you think I should read it?? Do you think it is a suitable book for me to read??
ReplyDeleteWhat a descriptive poem! Who is your favourite character? Why? By the way I deleted my comment because of a typo. ;)
ReplyDeleteGabi, I think this book is great but I don't think it would suit you well, because it is quite action packed and has a confusing twist, but give it a go it might surprise you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna, I think mine might be Isabelle cause she is beautiful and fearless, you probably know I really like Jace as well!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I do. ;)
