"Clary Fray"- Obituary

"Clary Fray"-Obituary (City of Bones)

I'm sad to recall, but a very close friend of mine, Clary Fray, passed away last week due to a terrible accident. Clary, Jace, The Lightwoods and I went patrolling the dark, miserable alley ways of New York City on that glum Friday, and heard an horrible screeching sound. We turned a corner and saw a lifeless body of a young girl with black hair as dark as ravens and hands as cold as a ice. Her body was drained of life and all the happiness was too, but there was something else, a gruesome, sharp fanged bite, which blood seeped out of and down her neck creating a trail that led into a night sky of shadows. I warned Clary it was a bad idea, but she won the argument and I had no choice, in to the shadows where anything could happen. Suddenly, the darkness crept over us creating a seal that blocked all sunlight to enter. Vampires. I was right. We never should have come. Screams came from my friends around me and cries of laughter from these beautiful but deadly people exploded into the night. I felt my self growing weak as blood seeped from my wounds. Just as all hope seemed lost, Jace pulled out his glowing sword and used the last bit of his strength to scare them away. One by one we all escaped from the darkness and back into reality. All but one. Days past and we began to believe Clary was not truly dead. Until, just yesterday we went patrolling again and found her lifeless body floating on the little river that ran just outside the city. As her blood turned the water a cherry red, we hugged, cried, said good bye and buried her body outside the institute along with all the others. Then we reported to Hodge. Clarys funeral is set for next Tuesday which happens to be her birthday. Everybody from Idris is going. But not me.

"The Mortal Instruments": Series - Poem

"The Mortal Instruments": Series - Poem

I see flocks of angels burrowed beneath their wings
and hear their ignorant cries of laughter.

I see the demons that feast on mundane blood
and smell the fear of their victims.

I see vampires that lure their prey in for a drink
and witness the death and it's beauty.

I see the werwolves claw through raw succulent meat
and taste the filth of my surroundings.

I see the Silent Brothers whip around corners
and sense their hideous features.

I don't see the Night Children
but they see me.

Letter to Alaska

"Looking For Alaska"-Letter to Alaska- CNY

Dear Alaska,
I know you probably won't be able to read this but... I still have a couple things to say. To be fair you're not the greatest role model, for example; ditching school, smoking with friends, and of course... not keeping your promise to Pudge. He looked up to you, loved you, yet all of this went to your head and still the promise we all hoped you would forfill turned to ashes. This all sounds negative( talking to a dead person, what the hell Maya! )but you did forfill my 'Great Perhaps'. You were what I expected you to be(in a amazing way) to let loose, to not care what others thought about you, to stand up for friends. You helped me find the one thing I could never find on my own... 'MY Great Perhaps'. Even though you treated the 'Colonel' badly, even though you sort of cheated on you BF, even Pudge. I forgive you. And I hope you forgive me for this really cheesy letter.
Find it Alaska.
Find YOUR 'Great Perhaps'.
Rest In Peace.
From,
the cheesiest person in the world, who wrote the cheesiest letter in the world.
Maya
